A developer from Lakin, Kansas invited me to collaborate with his Interior Designer on his personal townhouse.

My role focused on the design of the kitchen, dining area integrated with the living room lounge space and a pantry functioning as a back kitchen for additional preparation and storage.

The vision for the home was a sophisticated industrial style that reflected the family’s way of living – modern, refined, practical and welcoming. Rather than a raw industrial aesthetic, the goal was to create a warmer interpretation with elevated detailing and everyday comfort.

The kitchen was designed as a central gathering place, seamlessly connected to the dining and living areas to support both family life and entertainment. Strong architectural lines, layered materials and carefully selected finishes brought character and presence to the open-plan space.

The secondary pantry was developed as a highly functional support kitchen, allowing the main living areas to remain clean, organized and visually appealing.

Throughout the project, the design balanced industrial influences with warmth through texture, lighting and thoughtful material combinations, creating interiors that feel stylish yet deeply livable.

The result is a townhouse that reflects modern family living with sophistication, comfort and a distinct architectural identity.
